Published over one hundred instructional articles (crochet patterns) in various nationally distributed crafts magazines, craft instructional books, web sites, and subscription clubs.

 Amazon, Real Networks, Planet Payment, and other Upwork Contracts . For example, wrote technical product descriptions for industrial and scientific products, such as refractometers, height gauges, digital balances, pH meters, and surface roughness testers. Successfully completed eight short-term contracts through Elance (now Upwork)

 Shakes Island Renovation Project, Wrangell, AK. Write press releases, newsletter articles, and blog entries. Photograph and videotape project activities and employees. Conduct interviews and write web site and flyer copy.

 GoAhead Software (now a division of Oracle), Bellevue, WA.  Solitary technical writer for a 2,000+ page software development kit consisting of single-source files. Created technical illustrations, documentation plans, and managed project-related tasks. 

Vidiator Technology, Bellevue, WA. Primary writer for various aspects of user documentation, including installation, configuration and development guide. Designed templates, edited text, created documentation plans, and managed project-related tasks.

 Topia Ventures, Tacoma, WA . Wrote and edited various project documents, mostly for a project with the FAA, including presentations, plans, reports, minutes, and processes. Created and managed templates. Analyzed documentation needs and made recommendations on deliverables and production processes. 

 GoAhead Software (now a division of Oracle), Bellevue, WA .   

Primary writer for significant content areas of a 1,000+ page software development kit consisting of single-source files. Created initial technical illustrations, managed project-related tasks for team, and edited writing by others.

CARE Computer Systems, Bellevue, WA.  Updated both print and online documentation using established writing standards. Wrote and reviewed specifications and test plans. Edited and tested help system content.

 Loronix Information Systems, Durango, CO.   

Wrote user guides, system administrator guides, and specifications. Produced images, completed layout and indexing, revised 600-page software development kit documentation, and edited writing by others.
